As a Payroll Support Specialist, specializing in timekeeping, you will be responsible for compiling and posting employee timekeeping data and managing hours clocked for our hourly population. Furthermore, you will be processing planned exceptions and timecard items and as well as handling any sort of discrepancy related to our employees’ timecards. Moreover, you will also be in communication with the program’s TECs to ensure they are promoting to their groups to check and approve their timecards. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include answering emails, preparing reports, managing audits, and performing any additional duties essential to the department’s success.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute timekeeping duties for the payroll department.
Maintain and manage timekeeping records of employees.
Check and inspect timekeeping records for errors and rectify.
Answer and respond to employees on timekeeping and exception issues.
Analyze and evaluate current period timekeeping issues.
Adhere to company guidelines regarding timekeeping functions.
Process exceptions on the employee timecard.
Maintain exceptions and timekeeping database records up to date.
Maintain Paychex filters and attendance rosters up to date with the latest separations.
Handle complaints or questions regarding discrepancies and ensure these are addressed in a timely matter before payroll is run.
Work on the daily report.
Promote to the ambassadors that they relay their discrepancies in a timely matter and also check and approve their timecards.
Preparing reports and managing audits
Performing any additional duties essential to the department’s success

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in accounting/business administration/HR is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Strong communications skills with aptitude in problem-solving
Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Exquisite math and numerical skills
Proficiency in computer applications, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Minimum 2GHZ processor
Minimum 4GB RAM
Windows 11, or most recent MacOS
Hardwired Internet Service with minimum 20MBPS Download, and 10 MBPS Upload
PAY AND BENEFITS
Pay Rate: $19.26 hourly
Benefits eligibility after 60 days of employment, including: Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance, as well as PTO.
