About the Role:

Amalga is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Operations Intern to support our Operations Director and Senior Manager in a fast-paced BPO environment. This is an on-site role combining operational support and project coordination, ideal for someone eager to grow alongside a company in active expansion.

You will gain hands-on exposure to client operations, AI-powered workflows, people dynamics, and project management, all at once. This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully while developing skills that are directly aligned with the future of modern business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Operations

  • Coordinate and track new client onboarding processes, ensuring smooth handoffs and a positive first experience

  • Support client implementation projects through task tracking, milestone follow-up, and cross-team coordination

  • Follow up on client satisfaction survey completion rates, ensuring timely responses and proper documentation

  • Project & Administrative Support

  • Manage and organize priorities for the Operations Director and Sub-Director simultaneously, with clear communication on task status

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings across multiple stakeholders using Google Meet and Zoom

  • Use AI tools for meeting transcription, note summarization, and action item follow-up

  • Track and report on employee satisfaction survey completion rates

  • Monitor and follow up on security compliance course completion across teams

  • People & Team Wellness

  • Conduct informal 1:1 check-in conversations with specialists and engineers focused exclusively on team wellbeing

  • Flag relevant wellbeing concerns or patterns to Operations leadership in a professional and discreet manner

Requirements:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • Availability to work part-time, on-site at our office.

  • Advanced English (written and spoken).

Hard Skills

  • Basic project management: task tracking, timelines, and structured documentation

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365

  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools for transcription, summarization, and follow-up drafting

  • Comfortable working with workforce management platforms (training provided)

Soft Skills

  • High level of discretion and professionalism

  • Warm, approachable communication style suited for trust-based 1:1 wellness interactions

  • Strong self-organization and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Adaptability in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
