Role Overview
As a Controller at Caddie Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s financial operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, developing budgets, preparing reports, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership and other departments to maintain financial health and support the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and financial transactions
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings
  • Lead audits and work closely with external auditors
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  • Assist with financial modeling and projections to support company growth strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on controlling or financial management
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting principles
  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a controller or similar role in a growing company is a plus
