Position Overview
As an Account Executive with Ovation, you’ll be responsible for driving new business by identifying and closing opportunities with multi-unit restaurants. You’ll work closely with restaurant operators to demonstrate the value of Ovation’s platform, from improving guest experience to increasing revenue. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive New Business: Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities with multi-unit restaurant operators through outbound calls, emails, and networking.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their pain points and how Ovation can solve them.
  • Conduct Demos & Presentations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase the value of Ovation’s platform and how it can improve their guest experience and business operations.
  • Negotiate & Close Deals: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing, including contract negotiations and setting expectations for onboarding and implementation.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the customer success and product teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to post-sales support.
  • Maintain CRM & Reporting: Track all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system, providing regular updates on progress and forecasts.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices to provide insightful recommendations to prospective customers.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to Ovation’s overall revenue growth.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS or technology space.
  • A proven track record of success in sales, including experience prospecting, presenting, and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, including consultative selling and relationship-building.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to manage a sales pipeline.
  • A passion for the restaurant industry and a keen understanding of the challenges multi-unit operators face.
  • A self-starter mentality with a strong drive to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Bonus: Experience working with multi-unit restaurant operators or in the restaurant tech space.
